Understanding Dropbox Signature Request Records

Sending a signature request via the Salesforce Dropbox integration means that Users can easily keep track of a signature request's progress. By looking in the top left corner, you will know that you are on the correct record type.

Verify that you are looking at the correct record type.

Users can navigate to the record in one of two ways:

  • Search for Dropbox Signature Request in the App picker and then locate the record, and then click it to access.

  • Navigate to the record with which the signature request is associated, and then click on the Signature Request.

The details page, where Users will initially land, contains an overview of the document’s most important and universal components.

The Status section contains signature status details.

If a User is trying to locate a more in-depth history of the Signature Request, they can navigate to the Related tab, where they will see who accessed the record, when they accessed the record, and what action they took.

In the example above, the Signature Request was sent to two signatories and only one has signed but both have viewed the document.

Once all signatories have signed the document, it will automatically be attached to the record with which it is associated.
