Youth v. Adult Apprenticeships in the System

The CareerWise platform allows for Program States to keep track of various work-based learning programs. As a result, staff may wish to report on the differences between programs and their requirements using several fields that can be used for distinction purposes.

Differences in the Applicant Profile (Salesforce)

Audience Type → Regardless of the work-based learning program, upon creating a profile in the Hiring Hub, users were assigned an audience type of Youth or Adult based on the criteria that they met.

Audience Type includes Adult and Youth.

Differences in the Contact (Salesforce)

Audience Type → Regardless of the work-based learning program, upon creating a profile in the Hiring Hub, users were assigned an audience type of Youth or Adult based on the criteria that they met.

Differences in the Applicant Profile (The Hub)

Visual markers in The Hub help Hiring Managers distinguish the differences between candidates in situations where a posting may accept both types of applicants.

The Applicant Type column will designate Youth Applicants with a 'Y' and Adult Applicants with an 'A'. Hovering over the icons displays the full text. The icon is also visible in the Profile review view.
