Delete an Existing Template for Applicant Profiles

Selecting the Correct Workflow

In order to deactivate an existing template, select the ‘Deactivate an existing template’ workflow.

Selecting the deactivation flow will present you with templates that are currently active in the system. Once the template needing deactivation is selected, 2-3 additional questions will be presented to ensure that any related profiles are correctly updated.

  • What would you like to do with the existing profiles under this template?

    • Remove them from the system

    • Link them to a different template

      • PLEASE NOTE: You will only be able to reparent an existing profile to a template that matches the Audience and Type of the current template. Meaning, youth applicants cannot be moved to an adult applicant template.

  • Please search for a new parent template → This is a search box that allows you to select another template from the system. If another template does not exist in the system, you will not see any options.

  • Please review the template details below and confirm you would like to deactivate this template

    • Yes → You will be prompted to select the ‘Update System’ button.

    • No → You will be advised to select the ‘Previous’ button.

Please note that the system will warn you about the number of profiles that will be impacted should you choose to delete a specific template.
